Sell a PDF

So you’ve written a book or a document that you published, you sold on Amazon…now what?

Let’s use my 90 day journals for example. These journals are available on Amazon: 90 Days of Planting Seeds, a Journal for Small Business Owners, The 90 Day Journal for Small Business Owners and 90 Days of Planting Seeds, a Journal for Online teachers. This is an easy way to create reoccurring income in a semi-passive way. I promote it while on Clubhouse or other audio aps and when I am posting on Facebook for example. I also use it to make fun posts on Tik Tok while promoting it at the same time. Have a look at this video to see exactly what I mean.

I also sell a PDF version of this journal. This way, people can print their own copy and put it in a binder. Now the PDF does not come with the colored cover, but it does have all 180 pages! That’s 90 days worth of content! People might prefer the PDF. Here are a few ways I sell PDF versions of my journal! First of all, I can add a plug in directly into this blog and sell it right here, like such! I get a notification that someone has purchased and I can send them their copy in an email: easy peasy. Although I have to do a bit of the work by sending the email, this only takes a couple of minutes of my time.

This is a 90 day guided journal with many tips and tricks for small businesses trying to grow their social media presence!

90 Day Journal for Small Business Owners

This journal is identical to the journal above. The only distinction is that the images are more cottage oriented and not sunflower oriented.

90 Days of Planting Seeds, a Journal for Online Teachers

Very similar to the original journal, this journal is geared to the online teacher versus the business owner. In this journal I talk about parents and students instead of clients and the tactics are slightly different.

The other way I sell my PDF copies is through a site called “Teachers Pay Teachers”. In this case, I am only selling the Online Teacher version of this journal because it relates directly to teachers. Here is a link to my product on my Online Store. Teachers Pay Teachers keeps a percentage of the sales, but I don’t have to do a thing. Once my product is listed in my store, I can sit back and collect royalties.

Another way I sell my PDF version of my journals is with a Google Form. Creating a Google form is a fantastic way to give information while keeping track of people’s choices and orders. The best part about a Google form is that you can collect this information and with a click of a button, all of it is put into a google form with everyone’s answers in the right column! What a great feature! It is also very practical to pin to the top of a room in a Clubhouse room or simply share in an email. This is my form for people who would like to order a PDF version of my journal. Just click here to access the Google form.

The newest site where I sell my PDF’s and other digital assets is on a site called Payhip. If you visit my store on Payhip, you’ll see these same journals! What I love about Payhip is that they only keep 5% of the total amount and it costs nothing to join. So when I sell a $10 journal, it only costs me 50 cents. That is much more profitable than if I sell the hard copy on Amazon. Although some people might want a hard copy and I appreciate that I don’t need to hold inventory in my house, having the possibility to print your own by purchasing a PDF can be an option many people might enjoy! If you would like to sell on Payhip, here is my referral link! I would appreciate your support!

Where else could I sell this PDF? If you have any other ideas of free platforms where I could sell a PDF, please let me know in the comments! Thanks!
